3.
After that I then found how long the cannon ball was in the air by looking at the table and seeing when the line got to 32 a second time, because the first was when the cannonball was fired so the second is when it lands.

In the book 'A Long Way Gone', Ishmael was exposed to violence at a very young age. When he was forced into the war, he started to use weapons to kill people. Later on, Ishmael had realized that many of the people he had killed were innocent and it wasn’t his or their faults for what was going on. At first when he was first exposed to war, he had seen many scary things, such as, a woman holding her dead baby for comfort. Ishmael and that baby didn’t ask for the war and obviously didn’t start it so why should they suffer? Once Ishmael started to get kill people, do drugs, and watch unruly movies, he started to try to kill people as if it were a game.
I don't think that it is ethical for weapons to be used because they lead to a more violent world, and persuade many of those in the younger generation to want to be a part of it. Particularly, because when a younger child sees something going on they follow what they see and they don’t usually don't really understand many things, and may think it’s a game. Or when they play a game or watch TV might follow the example, as Ishmael did when he watched Rambo. This isn’t good for their future and I don’t think it would be good for the next generation, which will be affected by this.
